Locally owned businesses are the source of vibrancy, recreation, and growth within our community, stability in our neighborhoods, and gainful employment for residents. The pandemic spread of COVID-19, and subsequent measures put into place to preserve our public health and safety, have caused many area businesses to close or operate at an extremely reduced capacity. As many businesses work to meet the persistent demands of their fixed costs during these difficult and uncertain times, it's becoming increasingly apparent that the financial burden for many may be too much to bear. The Small Business Resiliency Fund will provide grants up to $5,000 to small, locally owned retail, restaurant, or personal service storefront businesses with 1-30 employees located in La Crosse County. The grant period is rolling, meaning applications will be reviewed as they are received. Awards will be made every two weeks as long as funding is available. The Launch La Crosse Recovery Program has awarded grants to 24 local small businesses through June 30th, 2020. Click here for the most current list. |
The Launch La Crosse Small Business Resiliency Fund will focus on encouraging businesses to reach customers in new ways.
