05.07.13 Kim Cable Receives Outstanding Advocate Award
Westby, Wis. - Kim Cable, Couleecap, Inc. was honored with the Outstanding Advocate Award during the 2013 Wisconsin Community Action Program Association (WISCAP) Annual Meeting held May 1st at The Madison Concourse Hotel in Madison. The Outstanding Advocate Award is given each year to a person who has demonstrated remarkable achievement articulating the needs and concerns of the poor or exemplary leadership advancing the causes and principals of community action and service to low-income families.

05.07.13 Susan Fabian Recognized at Annual Meeting in Madison
Westby, Wis. - Susan Fabian was honored at the Wisconsin Community Action Program Association (WISCAP) Annual Meeting on Wednesday, May 1st at The Madison Concourse Hotel in Madison with the 2013 Self-Sufficiency award.
Susan participated in Couleecap's Supportive Housing Program after leaving a domestic abuse situation. With the help of her case manager she secured employment, found stable housing, and received her bachelor's degree.
