Couleecap helps people in need with housing, food, transportation, and more. Through our actions we fight poverty, promote self-sufficiency, economic development, social justice, and personal responsibility.

10.22.14 Couleecap Celebrates National Energy Awareness Month and Weatherization Day

Westby, Wis. - Each year, October 30 is recognized as Weatherization Day. This day marks an annual opportunity to bring attention to the fact that low income households spend a disproportionate percentage of their annual incomes on home energy bills.

10.3.14 Couleecap Scholarships Available


Westby, Wis. - Couleecap, Inc. will be giving out four $200 John Young Scholarships in 2015. One graduating high school senior from each county of Couleecap's service area (Crawford, La Crosse, Monroe, and Vernon) will receive a $200 scholarship.

9.4.14 Marine Credit Union Foundation Provides Help for those Struggling with Homelessness


Westby, Wis. - Couleecap, Inc. is honored to announce that it has received a donation of $2,000 from Marine Credit Union Foundation. "Marine Credit Union Foundation is a valuable partner in our community," said Kim Cable, Housing and Community Services Director. "We appreciate their support and the positive impact it will make in our community."
