Types of  Bequests

• Specific Bequests - Your make a gift to Couleecap from the balance of the estate after all other debts, expenses, and other bequests have been paid.
• Percentage Bequest - You make a gift to specific percentage of your overall estate to Couleecap.
• Contingent Bequest - If your primary bequest cannot be met (i.e. if the person intended to receive it is no longer living), the asset, property or dollar amount will be used to make a gift to Couleecap.

Sample Language for Charitable Bequests

I hereby give, devise and bequeath $_____ (or a percentage of my estate) to Couleecap, Inc., a non-profit organization located at 201 Melby St., Westby, WI  54667, Federal Tax ID #39-1077614, for Couleecap's general use (or to support the following area(s) of charitable interest).
