The Med Skillz program is for individuals who need financial assistance to complete their degree in the medical field. Med Skillz provides financial assistance that pays towards tuition, books, class fees, uniform or equipment costs, child care, and transportation expenses related to returning to school.

HOW TO QUALIFY
​Applicants must be 18 years of age or older

• Must live in Crawford, La Crosse, Monroe, or Vernon counties
• Must meet income guidelines
• Must be working towards a degree in the Nursing field
• Applicant must be employed with a degree and ​working in the field by June of 2025.

QUALIFYING MEDICAL PROFESSIONS

• None - MUST be nursing-related
• Associate Degree Nurse (RN) 
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
• Medical Assistant (MA)​

Indirect support for transportation, childcare, and supplies
3-year participant maximum assistance is $25,000
