Couleecap's Public Statement on the Overturning of Roe v. Wade

Couleecap and a team of local physicians opened Options Clinic in 1970 to provide comprehensive family planning and related health services to individuals and families in the Coulee Region. While no longer a provider, our organization still stands firmly committed to our belief that healthcare is a fundamental right that all residents that should not be denied.
 
The recent Supreme Court decision to overturn Roe v. Wade will create even greater healthcare and economic disparities for women, especially women earning a low-wage or have low-wealth and women of color. As an organization that fights poverty, Couleecap will continue to advocate for policies that advance equity in healthcare, including the right for people to make choices about their reproductive health.
